I place that kind of action on the same 'scale' as other Vorteces of Dissipation--smaller dosage dopamine delivery systems in the brain making some people of a character type that is always seeking for more novelty and excitement because ordinary activities do not reward them. Then, constant frustration and common obstacles that a more placid temperament takes in stride become negative feedback generators that stir up excitement even if not a very healthy form of excitement. Like in the Watsons, the sister who would rather have quarreling going on than nothing at all.
