Hi Jessamyn,I was visiting your site yesterday and on the
Bonnets,Hats,and Caps page you showed a style of hat that
would be very easy to make.It was the broad brim straw hat
with a low crown with some kind of ribbon wrapped around the
top and tied under the chin.I was wondering if you knew that
style of hat had a name.This style is referred to as a Gypsy
/Gipsy or hat in the Gypsy/Gipsy style.You may not know this
but for twenty years(1800-1820)it was the most popular style
