If you read her History of England, it's a deliberately funny reversal of the Whig histories of the time, eg. arguing for Mary Queen of Scots. But this is such a parody that it cannot be taken too seriously, which suggests that she could cast an objective eye over the extremes of her own political faction.

But Margaret Thatcher she's not ;-)
