] Dear Mary Collette! I have two low hedges of deep blue lavender in my garden and they are to be cut down every late autumn or early spring in order to get as many fresh flowers as possible. They come in different colours I have few white ones as well. The scent when you brush against them in the summer is divine! The flowers in full bloom can be collected and dried. That way you save the scent in cotton bags to place among your lingeries. We can buy them in drugstores here in Sweden. Have you got a Body Shop where you live? They might sell Lavender Oil.

]I was wondering, how might lavender be maintained indoors? I live in an apartment and have attempted to grow lavender in pots, but have failed. Also, I would like to know if certain lavenders work better indoors than others (French as opposed to English)?
