I recently received a catalogue of Dover Publications. I found a very well done paper doll book illustrating Pride and Predudice! They also had the same sort of book showing Regency fashions specifically. I have found that Dover books are reasonably priced, well made and the main catalogue offers over 6,000 titles in a wide range of subjects. This is the publisher that puts out the American Family of the Early Republic paper doll book that, I believe, The Mysterious H.C. mentioned here a while back. The only thing about Dover is that they do not take credit card orders, are not online, do not take faxs and do not take orders over the phone. Even so, the service is promt. The address: Dover Publications, Inc., 31 East 2nd St., Mineola, NY 11501-3582. Perhaps we could 'pursuade' them to illustrate a Persuasion paper doll book. The Entire JA series! (These paper dool books, by the way, are not necessarily for children. I mean, the illustrations are so good that they appeal to adults and I have found them to be a good reference for my art, costuming and research for my book).
