Elaine...this has always been my understanding on the matter, in fact when I was a kid growing up on a farm, all the old farm families had breakfast, dinner and supper, in that order, except they ate supper earlier in the day, and breakfast much earlier! Every time I post a story I try to pay attention to the rules you described above. What "bugs" me is..what time did folks actually get up in the morning? I assume by the time of breakfast, that it was relatively late according to our standards?
