Hi,I am posting to find out a little about how quilts
were made in England during the Eighteenth Century and The
Regency.I have seen the pictures of the patchwork quilt
that was pieced together by Jane Austen and Mrs.Austen,
and am wondering if they used a quilting frame.My mother
who grew up in Westphalia Michigan and can remember my Grand
mother Thelen making quilts on a frame.Were quilting frames
used in England?
