Where did you get the book??? How much was it?? Is it hardcover, mostly pictures???
I just checked this out from my library. I don't have the copy here with me, but I think it retails for $29.95 or so. As I said in a previous post, this is a superb book. It is hardcover with color photos, period paintings, fashion plates, etc. on every page. The text is also excellent, giving wonderful descriptions of how things were worn (underthings and all included). Quite a fun and informative read!
