There are two other books that are fascinating. Have you read any of them?
The Private Letters of Princess Lieven to Prince Metternich (1820-1826). Dutton
Princess Lieven by H. Montgomery, Little, Brown & Co.
Both of these have all sorts of information on the Regency. Princess Lieven had an opinion on everything and in her letters she wrote her personal thoughts on just about everybody who was anybody. Both of these books are very entertaining and give a unique overview of the Regency.
Just a litle note: I purchased these from a library bookstore for $3 each. I recognized them both as books in the bibiliographys of the many books I have read about the Regency. They are both First editions, published in 1938. Being a Regency enthusiast, its hard for me to believe someone would give these books away. How did I get them for $3.00!!
