Bathing machines

Someone posted asking about bathing machines (way down the page!) and was referred to an earlier discussion.

I am currently reading the letters of Lady Harriet Cavendish and she describes bathing at Ramsgate in 1803. If anyone is particularly interested, I could type in a few excerpts.
