This is not a new book, it came out last year. I missed it when it came out because the title led me to believe it was about Elizabethan Times, a period I'm very strong on but not interested in at that time. Anyway, its called:another book

Where Queen Elizabeth Slept & What the Butler Saw by David N. Durant. A treasury of Historical Terms From the Sixteenth Century to the Present. $24.95 st. Martin's Press.
Its reads like a dictionary. I read it through to the end. It had very interesting tidbits about the Regency period as well, but a little generalized in many ways. Its good though.
