Dear Caroline,

Thank you so much for welcoming me.

What have I read so far? The most helpful book I have ever read on the subject is a book called Home Comfort, A History of Domestic Arrangements In Association with the National Trust by Christina Hardyment. Excellent would be a very weak word for describing it.

What am I using the information for? A book. I write both Historical novels and am currently working on a Reference book. I have just a few things to work out before I send it to my agent. Thank you for your warning, however, any information I will receive will simply give me a bigger picture, so to speak.

Where is the Home I am thinking of? The time is Regency and I am more interested in the London townhome. I am fairly confident about the country. I am sorry I was so ambiguous!
