] Hi. I picked up a new book not too long ago that talks about how to walk, sit, generally comport yourself in period clothes. I think it's aimed toward actors, but it makes for interesting reading. I don't know how accurate it is, but now I have even more things to look for when watching period pieces! The book is called "The Wearing of Costume" by Ruth Green.

I have that book too (picked it up remaindered cheap), but two limitations are that it's really aimed at stage actors, and that the bulk of it is devoted to how to handle hoop skirts, trailing trains, etc. on stage (the Regency is gone through pretty quickly...)
