Seriously impaired

I have to apologize. I haven't had much sleep and I think it's showing. I just wanted to find the name of the kind of hat the men are wearing as they enter the Meryton assembly in P&P2. It's a rather naval-looking hat. I was also wondering if men still wore them in 1812/13ish time. I looked for an archive for this board and for the info on several of the fashion pages linked with the RoP, but have found no info. Could someone please direct me if you are aware of the info's location? I'd appreciate your help very much. Thanks in advance. EL
