I used to have a record-you know, one of those black, vinyl things- called "the Compleat Dancing Master" with many tunes and readings on it, including the Dickens and wonderful William Prynne.If you ever come acrooss a refence to it, I'd love to know!

I love the quote about the Hey, that's one of the dances we did at my class - it is, indeed, beautiful (even when done by such baby elephants as ourselves) - very strange to feel yourself creating a pattern as you move.
