Hair styles

My sister and I are going to a party next weekend and would like to do each others hair in a regency style. We would appreciate any suggestions and advice since we have not tried these types of styles before.

My sisters hair is heavily layered and around shoulder length - a sort of growing out Jennifer Anniston in Friends look.

My hair is around bra strap length, also layered, but long layers, with shortish bangs.

Both our hair is straight.

Any advice would be welcome,
