] I think the time of P&P (1811-12)
I thought that JA wrote P&P when she was ca. 21 years of age, so I just checked out Henry Churchyard's wonderful JA-page, and according to this the original version of P&P was written in 1796-97. However, the novel was not published until 1813.
SOO, my problem now is, exactly which is the time of P&P ?
Did JA "update" the novel when she revised it ? Or did she leave it (historically) as it was originally written ?

Hope someone can help.

Tilde
