] Right behind them is a small street (more like an alley) called a "mews" which are now filled with delightful small houses.
Something about those places is so enchanting. The houses themselves are so darling you want to talk baby talk to them, but also the whole idea of their being a little sub-world behind the big estate world just has this cool sort of wheel-within-a- wheel symetry.
