I asked about this video over at Ramble and got no response, so I thought that I would try again here.
BTW, the title may not be accurate as I am relying on my very poor memory; but it is close.

I recently received The Video Catalog The Best of Public Television, Arts and Entertainment, and Special Interest Video.

It does have a lot of tempting videos for sale; British series from Poldark and I Claudius to P&P2 and Cold Comfort Farm.

I am wondering if anyone can recommend, or knows anything about the subject video. This is what they say about it.

Jane Austen's Life, Society, Works Eighteenth-century England was a time of great social and political change, and nowhere is it reflected more wryly and brilliantly than in the works of Jane Austen. This fascinating program examines Austen's life, the world in which she lived and the spakling wit of her six novels. You will gain an extraordinary insight into the woman and the writer, and understand how Austen became a worldwide phenomenon more than a century later. 2.5 hours on 3 cassettes. $59.95

I am obsessive enough to consider spending this much money if the set it really good.

Thank you.
