I will be hosting a Regency Ball, complete with live musicians, period dancing, period dress, period card games (mainly whist and loo), on November 11, from 7:30-10:00 p.m. on the campus of Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota. (That's just about forty-five minutes south of Minneapolis.)This is a project for my English Lit II class, but I must admit that I already had an interest in doing a ball; I'm just fortunate that I get to do it for credit. :)
