I don't operate on praise, any more than Amy does. But it's great when people do drop me a line. I find what I can, and try and tailor it to the interests of the posters, and I'm learning a heck of a lot in the process. I am constantly looking for new sites and asking for permission to link, I keep my librarian in stitches justifying inter-library loans,and generally avoiding doing dishes!
Some of us , on the quiet, are getting into Military and Naval History. Others are concentrating on Domestic Life, still others branching out into Fine Art and Literature. The more we share what we know, the better this board becomes. So don't hesitate to ask, recommend(or not recommend, politely!)or suggest, either by e-mail, or by posting.
