] ] Looking through a book called "British Television: Your Guide to Over 1100 Favourite Programmes" I found the following information about previous BBC adaptations of P&P.
] ] 1952: starring Daphne Slater and Peter Cushing
] ] 1958: starring Jane Downs and Alan Badel
] ] 1967: starring Celia Bannerman and Lewis Fiander
] ] These were listed under the P&P2 entry (along with the 1980 version w/ Elizabeth Garvie and David Rintoul) as the previous versions of P&P.

My wife and I saw the 1980īs version on german TV. After the new version was broadcasted, we really would like to put hands on tapes of that 1980 version, eighter in English or in German. Can someone help?
