Anyway, I do not like Mary; the fact is that I don't care about her, and as far as I'm concerned, she and Edmund pretty much deserve each other.
I think most Crawfordites here like Fanny and believe in her heroic potential. Otherwise, why would we reward her with our hero, Henry? I honestly don't think that Edmund and Fanny could ever really feel romantic love for one another; you will note that Fanny's heart was "divided" between the Ed-ster and her brother William. I think the affection she had for both was equal and of the same type. She mistook her sisterly affection for romance. It was naught but shallow infatuation; the reformed Henry is her true love.
