] You're not alone, in fact I think there are quite a few Bertramites out there. I can see what the Crawfordites are saying - of course the Crawfords are charming, they are supposed to be charming, and they've charmed a lot of readers too. In fact they are two of my favourite JA villians - but JA is right in not forgiving them their lack of principle.

I am very pleased at all the positive responses I've been getting so far. Now, maybe one of us can write some Fanfic! :) I would like to see a sequel from the Bertramite perspective.
I also would like the Crawfordites to know that I'm not trying to start a war. I was just wondering if there was anyone else out there who agreed with me, and I must say that I am immensely glad that there are.
