You're not alone, in fact I think there are quite a few Bertramites out there. I can see what the Crawfordites are saying - of course the Crawfords are charming, they are supposed to be charming, and they've charmed a lot of readers too. In fact they are two of my favourite JA villians - but JA is right in not forgiving them their lack of principle.
