But of course, he hired Wickham to handle the details for him! That why he dies early-the strain of too much blackmail. I've got it! He doesn't tell Fanny, but after his death a blackmailing note from Wickham arrives, and so Fanny learnes the truth, and off she goes in search of Henry. This should be a story on FanFic!!
