] Oh, good job! These all seem like valid points, and make Edmund seem more attractive to me than he has seemed for a number of years. As I mentioned, I am ambivalent about all the characters in MP (except Aunt Norris, whom I thoroughly dislike.)

I also agree with you about Aunt Norris. I think she's very horrible and uncaring and I cheered when she left Mansfield.
