Thanks for the welcome!

Hmm, I guess what I like best about Edmund is how he has strong principles (though I'm not blind to his faults), is steady and dependable and is very passionate about anything that is important to him, though of course he doesn't show it. Good point about his gunuine kindness to Fanny. And I also think that the father-like manner, that Cassia mentioned, is very appropriate for Fanny, who needs that sort of person. And how he will speak up about anything that he doesn't approve of. Oh, and to save the best for last, how he wants to confide only in Fanny, which I think is very flattering, even if she had to painfully endure his blabbering on about Miss so-and-so.
