] Just watched "Persuasion" again, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Very well done! I had originally watched it after having seen "Pride and Prejudice" on A&E, and at the time, found that "Persuasion" was nothing compared to P&P. Now I find it equally good, though really it's hard to compare a two-hour movie to a six-hour TV movie.
] And of course, I had to read JA's "Persuasion" again, and loved it, as usual!

Watching the movie really made the book come alive for me. I didn't appreciate it nearly as much before; but when they get to FW's letter in the movie--I cried, I really did, and continue to get chills every time I read it, or think about the movie. It's great!
