] Clarissa was dramatised about 1990 by the Beeb or ITV. I remember watching it on one of the forces networks in Germany, but whether it was through the American one(Masterpiece Theatre)or the Canadian one, or the British one, I cannot remember. It was very intense, absorbing, and in many ways quite horrifying.Like Pamela, there is a strong sense of moral outrage in much of it.

I want to see this production, which is supposedly available on tape, though I haven't seen it yet.
