] Lady Susan is married to Sir James Martin, who is rich. And stupid. She'll probably be happier with him than with her first husband. I don't know much about him, but I hope that he's better than Sir James, and could make LS behave herself a little bit better. With Sir James, he probably wouldn't know what she was doing, and as long as she kept up her "marital duties" would not care what she did with any other man.
I just had a thought--LS as a philandering opposite-sex Mr. Bennet? "Then again, he may prefer a stupid wife, as others have done before him," Mr. B. says to his wife (and of his wife?) at the beginning of the novel.
