] Sometime down the road, you guys want to read The Moon & Sixpence together?

] W. Somerset Maugham, great story, but that's not the whole appeal, of course. Alan Rickman will play Strickland, the painter loosely based on Gauguin, and Jeremy Northam plays the autobiographical Maugham.

] It hasn't even started filming yet, so we'd have a while to fit it in. I started a negotiation with Suzanne about the possibility of doing it together with the Rickman page.

] See first message at http://www.pemberley.com/pemb/admin/newbie/messages/691.html on the newbie board, but continue the discussion here.

] Also, Barbara has the html text of the novel linked from her Literary Companion page
