] Appropos of nothing -- does anyone else remember that their used to be a dance team by the name of Irene and Vernon Castle? If memory serves, they were in one of the movies of Showboat.

It must have been an early version as Marge and Gower Champion were in the one I remember (with Howard Keel, Ava Gardner, etc...great musical) Now back to our program.
