For what purpose? He was originally after Lady Susan (well, no, actually he was intended for the Manwaring's daughter!). Are you saying that he is making love to the daughter to get to the mother? ick. ;-p
If he is really "in love" with Frederica, this makes three women he has persued in the course of a month....I think Miss Manwaring has been most fortunate!
