Back to the LibraryI don't actually understand why Mark Twains books suddenly get uninteresting because of some of his opinions. That has nothing to do with the value of his literature, has it? (But I assure you, I didn't like what he said at all! :-) )

I didn't mean to say that all of the sudden his books are bad because of his opinion of Jane. To be honest, I have never read his work. It might be very good, and, certainly, the value of his literature has nothing to do with his opinions of other writers. But I think his comments tainted my opinion of him. Who knows, maybe I'll read one of his books eventually. I was just really surprised about what he wrote about Jane.
