It is the only book that I could not ever read...and I did try so hard, because it has such a beautiful title. But no way. I first start when I discovered it among my mother's books, when I was about 12, and kept giving it a try throughout my teens.
And the same happened to my mother, she says that she believed herself that after reading Ling Yutang's "A leaf in the storm" she would be able to read anything, but that book simply proved to much for her.
