Back to the Library ] I was just wondering, are a lot of her stories based on this type of plot or has it just been due to my choice of novels that I have ended up reading a lot of this type?

I haven't read enough GH but I have found the same thing with two books by Catherine Cookson that I read called The Girl and The Rag Nymph. I noticed that both books center around a gorgeous young workig class girl who is threatened/mistreated by an upper class stiff and a yobbo. In the end both get a really great working class guy who is maimed or physically unsusual and opening a shop is involved in some way. I also found that an author called Madeline Brent pretty much uses the same plot over and over again in her romances/mysteries.
