Post-virtview blues

The two phases for this week's discussion constitute the happiest time in Tess' young life, finding work and friends and love on the dairy farm, though her fears are never far away from her.
There are plenty of things to talk about in this section, but having spent two days this week watching and discussing Tess at virtview, I'm having a hard time backing up to this spot in the story, when I know what's just around the corner.
Does this make sense? Anyone else having this problem?
