Next Read Ideas

Back to the LibraryI can understand not wanting to go from Tess straight into Middlemarch, they are both long and in the case of the Hardy, very heavy, books.

Therefore, to add some levity to the list, why don't we actually read Bridget Jones' Diary together. Afterall, we've already been talking about it for over a year. Also. as it is very short, we could also read Laura Zigman's Animal Husbandry, an American novel, also funny and about dating. If we co-ordinate a viewing of The Truth about Cats and Dogs while reading the novels we'll have a complete picturing of dating 1990s style on both sides of the Atlantic.

Just a thought.
