Or something like that. That and the Hound of the Baskervilles are the only two I've read.
SS is not as good as THOTB, but it is very interesting because it tells you how Watson and Sherlok Holmes get acquainted. I remember one part where Watson discovers that SH does not know that the moon revolves around the earth (or was it that the earth revolves around the sun) and upon learning it he says he is going to forget it because memory is like a cupboard, with a limited room for storage, and that he didn't want to fill it with stuff that he does not need.
I was also a surprise for me because Watson was not the silly old man you find in all the movies, but a young and intelligent doctor.
