I've read them all. The first two are the best - they tend to go a little down-hill after that. But I did enjoy them. The whole concept of stepping back into the past is so attractive!
] i'm starting to read the second of a four-book series of what i suppose are "historical romances"; the first one, Outlander, was actually quite impressive. they are the story of a WWII nurse, Claire, who is tossed back to 1743 Scotland and a Scotsman named James Alexander Malcolm MacKenzie Fraser (!). very good summery reading, if a little gory (battle scenes and such) at times. has anyone else read them?
