] W. Somerset Maugham, great story, but that's not the whole appeal, of course. Alan Rickman will play Strickland, the painter loosely based on Gauguin, and Jeremy Northam plays the autobiographical Maugham.
] It hasn't even started filming yet, so we'd have a while to fit it in. I started a negotiation with Suzanne about the possibility of doing it together with the Rickman page.
