And I don't know if we can argue about which is the "better" or "deeper" book, but I think it's been pretty much acknowledged that Wuthering Heights is the better-written of the two.
Sorry?!! Have I missed something? I totally agree with you that it's probably a matter of taste, so who are these people who have agreed that WH is better written and in what sense?
