Flora's writing

] 1) What do you think of Flora's attempted writing in the movie? I don't think her style is in character. I mean, she is neat and admires JA, I don't think her style would be so florid, and metaphorical.
I agree, her writing was terrible. It has been a while since I read the book but I don't remember her writing being as bad in the book. It wasn't that great, either.
] -I don't like the way Charles was portraied (sp?), so stiff and dandy-like and he looked like an idiot! He was no such thing.
I know the slicked down hair was popular for men during those times- maybe that is what put you off.
