Emma Tennant's parentage: a question

I recently read an article about the Duchess of Devonshire (mistress of Chatsworth), and it mentions her daughter, Lady Emma Tennant. Could this be the SAME Emma Tennant of the so-called "sequels" of Jane Austen's books?
The Duchess of Devonshire has some writing talent in her genes being the sister of Nancy Mitford, but if the two Emma's are the same, I wish someone would tell Emma the talent was not passed on to her!!! The Duchess is also the
grandmother of Stella Tennant, the much-sought-after model.
