List of 100 books/20th century, English Language - update

This week's Newsweek noted in a small article that the infamous list was not
listed in any particular order - so that the numbers are not rankings by the contributors - they just show that there are, indeed, 100 books on the list. I admit I spent a goodly amount of time perusing that list trying to figure out the rankings (not to mention why those books were included). What a publicity stunt!
