Back to the Library ] I've read about 20 of them now! Most are set in the regency period like Jane Austen, except they are very different to hers. But I find that most people who like JA like GH! Her books are really amusing as well. My favourites are Arabella, These Old Shades, Devil's Cub, Frederica and Regency Buck. (execpt I love lots of other ones too!)

Her regencies are alright, I haven't read much of them since I sometimes find them much too slow for my taste, but her mysteries, set in the '30s and '40s are superb, so wittily delicious! You must try them! My favourites are : A Blunt Instrument and Behold! Here's Poison - the heroes are very much alike, they're those languid, witty guys who you just have to love! :-)
