My review of "Bridget Jones Diary". (For Linda)

Dear Linda,
I have finally read "Bridget Jones Diary" all
the way through. I loved it. Here is my review.
I loved this book because I loved the subtle way
Ms. Fielding used the P&P storyline, but also used elements
of her own to make it more than a modern retelling. I also
liked Ms. Bridget Jones a whole heck of a lot better than
some of the comedies on American television i.e."Suddenly
Susan". For some reason I was never tempted to watch any
of these programs. I think I was spoiled by watching so ma-
ny English comedies on PBS. I would give this book a rating
of 10.
