JA's Characterizations are timeless

JA's characters are timeless. Many of them could exist in any age, and most of us personally know people whose personalities are almost "dead-ringers" for thouse found in JA's works. I would also say that the best way to understand this is to READ THE BOOKS. Much of this does come through in the dramitizations, but the original author's words are still the best source of information on this subject.
