What do you think makes a book great?
Perhaps we should start a list of requisites?
For me it is important that the characters be believable and coherent, that there be no lose ends in the plot, that the novel be in itself a "logic universe". And, on a more subjective POV, the novel must "touch" me on a mental level and on a "feeling" level; ie, it must make me think and feel.
